Uncovering the Hidden World of South Asian Youth and Gangs

Gang involvement or gang violence isn’t expected from South Asian youth, but to the surprise of many, it exists and is growing rapidly among youth in NYC. This documentary does not provide solutions to this problem, but introduces and analyzes the problem from its roots. This fourteen-minute piece, consisting primarily of youth voices, will allow one to reach a unique level of realization about gangs among immigrant communities.
