Each year, millions of migrants from around the world use WesternUnion, Money Gram and other companies to wire money home to their lovedones.

This has created a multi-billion remittance system that hasremained largely unaccountable. Now, immigrant advocates are pushingfor federal protection and regulation to help millions of migrants whosend money home to relatives. CNPI reporter, Jaisal Noor filed thisreport for FSRN.
