- For the November 2006 mid-term elections, CNPI reporters Abdulai Bah and James Williams, with Deepa Fernandes and Nell Geiser traveled to New Orleans to participate in Pacifica’s national coverage. It was the only national coverage on the day from the region that spoke directly to the on-going issues. listen
- Katrina Evacuees Face Eviction: Katrina survivors evacuated to New York face another challenge in the Big Apple: eviction. The Federal Emergency Management Agency was paying the rent for a few months for evacuees, but as the story was filed, FEMA had left the survivors in the lurch. CNPI reporter Abdulai Bah filed this story for the national evening news program Free Speech Radio News. listen
