Katrina Evacuees Face Eviction

Katrina survivors evacuated to New York face another challenge in the Big Apple: eviction. The Federal Emergency Management Agency was paying the rent for a few months for evacuees, but as the story was filed, FEMA had left the survivors in the lurch.
