This intensive hands-on training is for journalists who want to expand their skill set to include radio reporting. Learn how to use an H2 Zoom digital recorder to gather broadcast-quality sound and transfer audio onto your computer.

Get instruction on doing interviews in the field how to select quotes for your story. Write a broadcast style radio news script, and get tips on how to read it. Learn how to use the digital editing program, Audacity, and put it all together.

By the end of this introduction to radio news you will report, write and produce a radio story. Experience with reporting and or digital audio editing is strongly recommended.
